Nuts and Peanuts in a Diet

We all know that nuts and peanuts are very important when it comes to a very healthy diet. Of course, they shouldn't be fried or salted or so on. Peanuts contain vitamin E, proteins, fibres and antioxidants, therefore being very healthy and saturating and being the perfect alternative for chips and biscuits. Here are a few of the healthiest aliments which can be found in this category.

First of all, we have almonds. They are the peanuts which are most frequently recommended, reducing the cholesterol levels and being very rich in magnesium, potassium and vitamin E. According to some rumours, almonds are very good for your memory and the prevent colon cancer and digestive illnesses. However, you shouldn't push it when it comes to the quantities you consume, as you should only eat approximately a fist of almonds every day. Twenty-four almonds contain one hundred sixty calories.

Nuts are also very good for a healthy diet. They are full of nutritive substances which protect the heart and the vascular system, but they also contain antioxidants and fat acids. Nuts are usually recommended to those who suffer from a heart condition, who suffer from arthritis or from asthma. The recent studies have included nuts among those aliments which prevent cancer. Think about the fact that a bar of chocolate has over six hundred calories, while fourteen nuts only have one hundred eight calories and they are one hundred eighty times healthier.

There are a lot of ways in which you can introduce almonds and nuts in your diet, such as cocktails, yoghurt, croutons and many more. You should keep in mind the calories report when it comes to the aliments you consume and you can then deduce the positive effects each aliment has when it comes to your health.
